A catastrophe is awaiting Sri-Lankan Tamils.

by Ashok Chavda

It was Prabhakaran who ordered the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and there should be no mercy for him. but what worries me is about the fate of 1,50,000 Tamil Civilians. Sri Lankan government has given 48 hours dead-line to the civilians who are being used as civilian human shield by the LTTE. A catastrophe is in waiting if they do not surrender, and I am afraid India as well as the rest of the world can do nothing about it. The Indian government in Delhi wants Prabhakaran to be captured and extradited to India and wants to try for the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi.

The death of so many Tamil civilians will be a historic tragedy which we, a leading democracy of the world, can not ignore. Catch Prabhakaran if you can by all means, but it should be not at the cost of innocent civilians.

The fact is LTTE is totally isolated in the world and is banned in almost all countries. They have no friends left in the world because of their deadly activities, and terrorism and assassinations around the world. Sri Lankan government says that around 1.5 lakh Tamil civilians have been taken away by LTTE forcibly to be used as human shields in Jungles of Northern Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan Army is getting ready for the final assault and have given only 48 hours to the civilians to come out of the jungle before they start the action, i.e. air strikes and artillery fire. It should be compared with Saddam Hussein killing his own Kurdish civilians in Iraq.

Will India remain quiet or the government will fall with Karunanidhi pulling out of the government. I appeal Indian government to see that the there is minimal civilian casualty in the attack. At present there is no human rights in Sri Lanka for Tamils. (read Hindus)

The show must go on.

by Ashok Chavda

Our New year resolution.

Stop beating the breasts, blowing the nose, and shedding tears. We will meet challenges head on without flinching or faltering. Yes, All of us can.

Happy New Year.

Nothing is lost. Absolutely nothing is lost. So what if my brother Indian died on CST railway station by a bullet of a Pakistani national. (by a..non state actor, now a famous term). Who am I to care whether he died by Pakistani or Indian terrorist, the only fact is He was KILLED and he is no more with us today, but I know that the show must go on.

We have seen it all. what more the world will offer to make us meek? We are already that.

We have seen the partition. We have seen killings on the streets, We have seen Razakars killing us in Hyderabad. We have seen killings of Hindus in Bangladesh,  We have lost 1/3 of Kashmir to Pakistan, We have lost some sectors of Ladakh to China, and we have lost only 11000 sq. km. to China in 62.  We have seen China walking across Assam. We have seen Pakistanis attacking us thrice. We have seen Kargil, We have seen Khalistani movement. We have seen Assassination of Indira, We have seen Assassination of Rajiv, We have seen the collapse of Babri structure, We have seen the attacks on Mumbai in 93, We have seen the siege of Mumbai in 2008, We have seen more than 60 blasts in last 6 months, We have seen Tsunami, We have seen Earthquake, We have seen 26th July flooding of Mumbai, We have seen….

We are happy that Dhoni wins his matches, gives us pleasures. We are happy that we were able to win some medals in Beijing, We are happy that Lalloo is doing well as railway minister. We are happy that Aamir Khan is making good movies…life goes on for us.

We are happy that We are alive today. death comes to others not to us. I will never know the death till I die myself. So why should I worry? Why should I feel frustrated? Why should I even bother that my city is being given on a silver platter to a gangster right now? Let us celebrate and welcome 2009. We may see some more incidents in 2009. Why bother? We may loose our own life tomorrow, but the life in general goes on. Show must go on.

We will prove to the world that we are a tolerant society. We tolerate every thing. We tolerate gangsters, We tolerate politicians, We tolerate corruption, We tolerate disparity, We tolerate cast-ism, We tolerate regionalism, We tolerate religion fanaticism, We tolerate governments who do not function and tell us that by accepting few resignations and replacing some heads, we are safe now. Indeed we are safe, because they told us so.

We will tolerate the killings of our dear ones and we will tolerate our own killings. without resistance.

India is not Israel who goes on killing rampage because few of it’s citizens were killed by Hamas. How can they kill so many terrorists? where is the justice? India is a great country who has taught the world tolerance. To show, we have the best example in Afzal Guru.  We are living to the principal of tolerance. Indiraji was wrong, SoniaG is right,  Isn’t it?

may sound big joke. but this is the way it is. accept it or leave.(the topic or the country)

Happy New Year. The show must go on.

He was a real Hero

by Ashok Chavda

I would like to remember him today.

He was inducted in the Interim Central Government as a Minister for industry and suppy. He was widely respected by Indians and Sardar Vallabhhai Patel, But on issue of the 1949 Delhi Pact with Pakistani Prime Minister Liaqat Ali Khan, He resigned from the Cabinet on April 6, 1950. He was firmly against nehru’s invitation to the Pakistani PM, and their joit pact to establish monority commissions and guarantee monority rights in both countries. He wanted to hold Pakistan directly responsible for the terrible influx of millions of Hindu refugees from East Pakistan, who had left the state fearing religios suppression and violence aided by the state of Pakistan. He considered Nehru’s actions as appeasment, and was hailed as a hero by the people of Wesh Bengal in particular and people of India in general.

He promoted free-market economics as opposed to the socialism of Nehru’s policies. He wanted a uniform civil code for both Hindus and Muslims of India, He wanted to ban cow slaughter and end the special status of Muslim Majority Jammu and Kashmir.

His party won just three seats in 1952 general electins.

He opposed the Indian National Congress’s dicision to allow Kashmir to be a special state and have its own flag and prime minister. According to Congress’s decision, no one, including the President of India, can enter into Kashmir without Kashmir’s Prime Minister.

He opposed this, tooth and nail, He said, “Ek desh mein ho do vidhan, do Pradhan aur Do nishanan nahi chalenge”

He went to visit Kashmir in 193, and went on hunger strike to protest the law prohibiting Indian citizens from settling in a state in their own country and the need to carry ID cards, and was arrested on 11th May while entering Kashmir. Now the rule or ID card is revoked and we do not have a Kashmir PM in India due to his efforts, He met his death on May 23, 1953, under mysterious circumstances. His death in custody raised wide suspicion across the country and a demand was there by his own mother Jogmaya dvi to then Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, but…unfortunately no enquiery commission was set up and his death still remains a mystery.

Who was he?

He was Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The founder of Jan Sangh, mother of BJP. He died for us. and the people who killed him in custody are still ruling us. we are ashamed but we have a tendancy to forget very fast. what a pity,
